I'm a

👋 Helloooo & welcome to Ann’s World! 🌎✨ My name’s Ann — I’m from sunny Florida ☀️ and currently studying Computer Science at UC Berkeley 🐻.

I’m super interested in machine learning, cloud tech, and software design — especially when it comes to tackling challenges in the medical world 🏥 and addressing environmental impacts 🌱. I’ve gained experience through research (NASA Space Sciences Lab 🚀), internships (Amazon 💻, UCSF 🧬, HB Healthcare Safety 🏥), and projects that range from AI-powered apps to assistive robotics.

Beyond software, I also love media, design, and photography 📸 — you’ll find me snapping pics for Cal’s yearbook and newspaper, experimenting with UI design, and sometimes getting way too invested in my Letterboxd 🎬.

Outside of coding, you’ll probably catch me running 🏃‍♀️, skiing 🎿, or joking that debugging counts as a personality trait.

Improving Image Resolution from NASA COSI Satelitte

Using CNNs + Monte Carlo simulations to improve gamma-ray telescope imaging resolution. Built models with TensorFlow + Richardson-Lucy deconvolution.

UCSF

Transitioned 11TB of CT data to AWS S3; built React dashboards + backend algorithms to improve searchability and access.

CurrentWave AI SWE Intern

Automated Playwright test runs, token-auth checks, and GitHub CI/CD flows; collaborated on debugging + API logic to streamline user testing.

HB Healthcare Safety — GenAI Integration

Prototyping Bedrock-based LLM agents for Safeware® (prompt routing, retrieval, eval harness). Designed secure data flows (S3 + KMS) & collaborated on FedRAMP-aligned diagrams.

Ensembley — Music Collaboration App

React/Vite prototype for matching musicians: profiles, messaging, event discovery, and an AI assistant for values-aligned matches. Led UX research & lo-fi → hi-fi iteration.
